The extension gives applicants additional time to complete the registration process and submit their forms through the official examination portal, csirnet.nta.nic.in.

According to the latest application figures shared in the announcement, a total of 2,23,395 registrations have been submitted so far. Of these, 1,76,616 candidates have completed the fee payment process.

Candidates who have registered but have not yet paid the examination fee should complete the payment within the revised deadline. Applicants are also advised to download and save their confirmation pages after successfully completing the application process.

The extension is particularly important for candidates who were unable to finish their registration before the earlier deadline. Applicants should avoid waiting until the final hours, as heavy website traffic or technical issues could create difficulties during submission.

Candidates can visit the official CSIR-UGC NET portal at csirnet.nta.nic.in to complete their applications and check the latest examination-related updates.
