The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the date sheet for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2027 soon. As of October 31, the official examination schedule has not been announced in the supplied report, leaving students waiting for confirmation of their subject-wise exam dates and timings.

Once released, the date sheet will be available in PDF format on the board's official website, cbse.gov.in. It is expected to include examination dates, timings, subject names and subject codes, allowing students to organise their revision schedules and prepare for the examinations.

The release is later than last year's timeline. CBSE issued the tentative date sheet for the 2026 board examinations on September 24, 2025, followed by the final schedule on October 30, 2025. The 2027 examination dates may differ from the previous year's timetable, and students should rely on the official notification rather than assume that the earlier schedule will be repeated.

CBSE has also introduced a two-board-examination system for Class 10 students from 2026, in line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Students should check the official notices carefully for the applicable examination schedule and instructions.

According to the supplied report, the passing criteria remain at a minimum of 33% marks in each subject for both Class 10 and Class 12. Students should review the official examination guidelines for the complete requirements applicable to their subjects and examination components.

The deadline for submitting the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2027 examinations ended on October 21, according to the report. CBSE had reminded schools to verify students' personal details, ensure that subjects were selected correctly, submit the required candidate lists and pay examination fees within the prescribed timeline. Accurate entries are important to help prevent administrative errors ahead of the examinations.
