The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 10 and Class 12 board examination timetable for 2027 soon. As of October 16, 2026, the board has not officially confirmed the date sheet release date. Students can check the latest announcements and download the timetable PDF through the official website, cbse.gov.in.
According to the information provided in the latest update, the 2027 board examinations are expected to take place during February, March and April. Class 10 students may also have a second examination session in May 2027 under the two-examination system introduced in line with the National Education Policy 2020. The final schedule and subject-wise dates will be confirmed by CBSE.
Last year, CBSE released a tentative date sheet on September 24, 2025, followed by the final timetable on October 30, 2025. However, these dates do not guarantee when the 2027 schedule will be published.
Once the timetable is released, students can visit the official CBSE website and open the examination circulars or latest notices section. They should locate the notification for the 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, open the PDF and check the examination date, subject name, subject code and reporting or examination time mentioned in the document. Students should download and save the official timetable for future reference.
CBSE has also started the List of Candidates (LOC) submission process for the 2027 board examinations. According to the supplied update, affiliated schools can submit eligible students' details until October 21, 2026, without a late fee. The submission is mandatory for students seeking to appear in the examinations.
The reported passing criteria remain unchanged at 33% marks in each subject and in aggregate. Students should also practise the subject-wise sample papers available through the official academic website, cbseacademic.nic.in, while continuing their revision.
Until the official date sheet is published, students should avoid relying on unconfirmed subject-wise schedules circulating online. They should regularly check CBSE announcements for verified examination dates and instructions.
