Addressing the BJP state executive committee meeting in Lucknow, Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a firm and motivating message to party workers, urging them to put aside internal grievances as the state prepares for the upcoming Assembly elections. Acknowledging that not everyone receives organizational posts or rewards, Shah emphasized the party's efforts to maximize administrative adjustments while stressing the absolute necessity of unity.
Using a striking local reference, Shah told the gathering, "Whatever disappointment or resentment you have in your hearts, throw them away in the Gomti when you leave. We must remain united." His remarks come at a crucial juncture when grassroots feedback and recent legislative council trends highlighted pockets of worker discontent regarding leadership alignment and the accommodation of outside figures in organizational roles.
Alongside calling for internal solidarity, Shah laid out a major political roadmap for the state, announcing that the BJP will implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttar Pradesh if voted back to power for a third consecutive term. Party leaders underscored that coordinated synergy between lawmakers and ground-level cadres will serve as the bedrock for securing a decisive mandate in the 2027 electoral battle.
