High drama unfolded during the INDIA bloc’s protest march from Parliament Street to the Election Commission of India (ECI) headquarters, as Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of committing “treason” through alleged vote theft.

The Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, joined by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other INDIA bloc MPs, entered the Akashvani Bhawan premises amid heavy security deployment. Addressing supporters, Rahul Gandhi declared, “Nobody is going to escape accountability. Action will be taken against all of them for hijacking the country.”

The march, demanding the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar, comes against the backdrop of mounting opposition allegations of electoral manipulation and irregularities in voter registration. The protest was marked by barricades, police presence, and tense confrontations as MPs pushed forward toward the ECI headquarters.

Rahul Gandhi’s fiery remarks have intensified the political slugfest, with the opposition framing the issue as a battle to safeguard democracy. The INDIA bloc has vowed to continue nationwide campaigns until accountability is fixed on those they accuse of undermining India’s electoral integrity.
