Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 continued its reported box office run on Day 6, with the film receiving a boost during the Dussehra period. According to figures attributed to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film collected ₹45.55 crore in India net earnings across 15,529 shows on Tuesday.

With this addition, the film’s reported domestic net collection reached ₹287.80 crore, while its India gross total stood at ₹337 crore. The report also placed its worldwide gross collection at ₹541 crore after six days in theatres.

The Tamil version led the Day 6 collections, earning ₹31.20 crore from 7,828 shows. The Telugu version followed with ₹8.75 crore across 2,293 shows. The Hindi version reportedly contributed ₹5 crore from 5,230 shows, while the Kannada version added ₹60 lakh from 178 shows.

The film’s Hindi performance has reportedly been affected by a distribution dispute involving PVR INOX multiplexes in northern India over the theatrical-to-OTT release window. This may have limited its reach in some Hindi-speaking markets.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, Jailer 2 is the sequel to Rajinikanth’s 2023 film Jailer. The cast includes Ramya Krishnan, S. J. Suryah, Mohanlal, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Mithun Chakraborty. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music.

While the reported figures indicate a strong opening-week performance, box office estimates can vary across trade trackers. The final totals may change as updated collections are reported.
