The programme, offered through IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP), is designed for healthcare professionals, technology leaders, innovators and graduate professionals working in relevant industry or academic fields.

According to the institute, the six-month programme will begin on December 12, 2026, and conclude on May 30, 2027. Interested candidates can submit their applications until December 10, 2026.

The course will cover key areas including AI and machine learning foundations, healthcare data, clinical AI applications, Generative AI, Agentic AI workflows and responsible AI adoption. Participants will receive practical exposure through live sessions led by experts.

IIT Delhi said the programme is focused on bridging the gap between AI research and real-world healthcare applications. The curriculum is intended to help participants understand how AI can be implemented safely, ethically and effectively across healthcare domains.

Classes will be conducted on Saturdays from 6 pm to 7:30 pm and Sundays from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

The programme comes as AI continues to expand across areas such as early disease detection, personalised treatment, clinical decision-making and healthcare workflow optimisation.
