Singer and rapper Honey Singh travelled from Dubai to Jalandhar after learning about the death of his nephew, Vidit Auluck, in a road accident on November 1, 2026. A video of the singer visiting the bereaved family has since surfaced online, showing him breaking down as he embraced his brother, Dinesh Auluck.
The video shows Honey Singh getting out of his car and rushing towards Dinesh before hugging him. His brother then escorted him inside the house as the family mourned the loss.
Honey Singh also shared a childhood photograph with his nephews on Instagram, remembering Vidit with the words, "RIP Puttar." Earlier, he had expressed his grief in another post, describing the loss as devastating.
Vidit was the son of Dinesh Auluck, who is associated with Punjabi music label Speed Records. Vidit's friend, Aarav Talwar, also died in the same accident.
The collision occurred around 3 am on Sunday, when the two young men were returning from a birthday party. Their car reportedly crashed into a stationary Municipal Corporation tractor-trailer near the Police Lines flyover in Jalandhar. Both died at the scene.
Three other people were reportedly travelling in the vehicle. They survived the crash and returned home afterwards.
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. According to the supplied report, the families did not pursue further legal action, and the bodies were handed over to them.
Honey Singh's visit has drawn attention to the family's grief, as the singer joined his brother and relatives to mourn the young man's death.
