The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration process for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2027. Eligible candidates seeking admission to Sainik Schools can submit their application forms online through the official AISSEE portal.
The last date to apply is December 2, 2026, while the entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on January 31, 2027. Candidates are advised to complete the application process before the deadline.
AISSEE 2027 will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets. The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
The duration and language of the examination will depend on the class for which admission is sought. For Class 6, the examination will last 150 minutes and will be available in 13 languages. Candidates appearing for the Class 9 entrance examination will get 180 minutes, and the paper will be conducted in English.
The NTA has advised candidates and parents to read the AISSEE 2027 Information Bulletin carefully before submitting the application form. It contains details about the examination scheme, syllabus, eligibility criteria, available seats, reservation policy, examination cities and qualifying requirements.
