Bollywood actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have revisited the frightening night of January 2025, when Saif was stabbed at their Mumbai residence. During their appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 9, Kareena recalled the panic she experienced as the family tried to respond to the emergency.
Describing the chaos, Kareena said, “I was screaming on the road, ‘Ruko, ruko.’ It was like a movie scene.” She also revealed that the incident affected her emotionally, leaving her struggling to sleep for six months afterwards.
Saif described the experience as “the worst night in the history of nights.” He spoke about the seriousness of his injuries and the difficulty of recovering from the attack, which unfolded while members of the family were at home.
The incident took place in the early hours of January 16, 2025, when an intruder entered the couple’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra neighbourhood. Saif sustained multiple stab wounds and was taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
