The actress was expected to attend the Lendaxis Clyde Onam 2026 event, organised by the Clyde Malayali Association and scheduled for September 5. Following her hospitalisation, the organisers announced that the programme would be postponed.

Mamitha also addressed those who had been looking forward to meeting her, confirming that she was receiving treatment at a hospital. She said doctors had advised her to take complete rest and apologised for being unable to attend the event.

The actress expressed disappointment over missing the celebration and said she hoped to meet members of the Malayali community in Australia on another occasion.

The Clyde Malayali Association said it was coordinating with Mamitha's team and the venue to finalise a new date. The revised schedule was expected to be announced once arrangements were confirmed.
