Horror fans will soon be able to watch Evil Dead Burn from home as the latest instalment in the popular franchise is set to premiere on HBO Max on October 2.
Directed by Sebastien Vanicek, the film stars Souheila Yacoub as a woman who turns to her in-laws after the death of her husband. Their gathering at a secluded house, however, takes a terrifying turn when family members are transformed into Deadites.
The cast also includes Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, Erroll Shand, George Pullar and Maude Davey.
The film had its theatrical release on July 10 and marks the sixth movie in the Evil Dead franchise. Created by Sam Raimi, the series began with The Evil Dead in 1981 and has since expanded into films and the television series Ash vs Evil Dead.
The franchise most recently continued with Evil Dead Rise in 2023. Another instalment, Evil Dead Wrath, directed by Francis Galluppi, is scheduled for release in April 2028.
