The University of Delhi has announced its Financial Support Scheme (FSS) for the 2026-27 academic session, offering fee assistance to eligible students from lower- and middle-income families.
The scheme has been introduced by the Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW) office and is available to full-time bonafide undergraduate and postgraduate students studying in departments, institutes and centres directly under Delhi University.
Under Category I, students whose annual family income is up to ₹4 lakh can qualify for a 100% fee waiver, subject to a maximum assistance limit of ₹15,000.
The financial assistance is structured according to family income categories, allowing eligible students to seek support towards their university fees.
Students planning to apply should check the detailed eligibility requirements and required documents before submitting their applications.
The last date to apply is October 13, 2026. Applicants are advised to complete the process before the deadline and ensure that the information submitted is accurate.
The scheme is intended to provide financial assistance to eligible DU students and help reduce the burden of university fees during the 2026-27 academic session.
