Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Baththa continued its steady run at the Indian box office during its first week. The film earned an estimated ₹1.29 crore net on Day 7, taking its total domestic net collection to ₹14.04 crore. Its India gross collection has reached ₹16.26 crore after seven days.
Directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan and co-produced by Atlee, the Tamil film recorded its Day 7 collection from 1,309 shows across India.
Baththa opened with ₹1.50 crore on its first day. The film then saw a notable rise over the weekend, collecting ₹2.70 crore on Friday and ₹2.75 crore on Saturday. Its highest single-day collection came on Sunday, when it earned ₹3.10 crore.
The film's collections declined with the start of the working week but remained relatively stable. Baththa collected ₹1.30 crore on Monday, followed by ₹1.40 crore on Tuesday and ₹1.29 crore on Wednesday.
With its seven-day domestic net now at ₹14.04 crore, the film has maintained a consistent pace rather than witnessing a sharp weekday drop. Its India gross has crossed the ₹16 crore mark, with the first week setting the foundation for its second-week performance.
The film's upcoming weekend will be important in determining whether it can sustain its theatrical run and add significantly to its overall box office tally.
