The new centre is expected to train more than 10,000 students every year through specialised programmes covering renewable energy technologies and industrial automation.

The initiative will provide training in Solar PV Technologies, Wind Energy Systems, Hybrid Energy Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Digital and Industrial Automation. It will also promote applied research and entrepreneurship in the renewable energy sector.

According to the Adani Group, its green energy activities have generated more than 21,000 direct and indirect jobs in Gujarat’s Kutch district over the past two years, increasing the demand for skilled professionals.

Adani Group Director Karan Adani said the centre would help prepare students for emerging opportunities in India and international markets. ASE CEO Robin Bhowmik said the partnership would bring industry requirements into classrooms while providing students with practical exposure.

The centre will use classroom teaching, simulation-based learning and hands-on training. Its curriculum will also cover renewable energy integration, battery storage, microgrids, SCADA systems, IoT-based energy applications and smart-grid technologies.

The initiative comes as India targets 500 GW of non-fossil fuel-based energy capacity by 2030, while Kutch continues to emerge as an important renewable energy hub.
