The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will conduct the UPSSSC PET 2026 examination on October 25, October 30 and November 1, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts each day.
The first shift will take place from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the second shift is scheduled from 3 PM to 5 PM.
The Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) serves as a qualifying examination for recruitment to various Group B and Group C posts under the Uttar Pradesh government. Candidates who qualify may become eligible to appear for subsequent recruitment examinations, depending on the requirements of individual posts.
For eligibility, candidates are generally required to have passed Class 10 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. The reported age limit is 18 to 40 years, with applicable relaxation for reserved categories under government rules.
Candidates are also required to complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the official UPSSSC portal as part of the application process.
Applicants should check the official UPSSSC website for the latest notification, admit card updates and examination instructions.
