Shahid Kapoor, his wife Mira Rajput Kapoor and his brother Ishaan Khatter are set to appear together on The Great Indian Kapil Show for a Diwali special episode. The episode is scheduled to stream on Netflix on October 31, 2026, at 8 PM IST, according to the supplied announcement.
The released promos hint at a lively family roast, with host Kapil Sharma drawing the trio into candid conversations and playful exchanges. Mira appears ready to steal the spotlight as she talks about Shahid’s household habits, turning the conversation into a humorous list of complaints about her husband.
Shahid responds jokingly, suggesting that he had expected an appearance celebrating a happy family, only to find himself at the centre of a discussion about his faults. The exchange sets the tone for an episode built around familiar family dynamics and good-natured teasing.
Ishaan Khatter joins in, teaming up with Mira to poke fun at his older brother. The sibling banter adds another layer to the episode, giving viewers a glimpse of the trio’s off-screen chemistry.
The Diwali special will also feature the show’s regular performers, including Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda, who are expected to bring festive comedy sketches to the episode.
The appearance brings together three members of the Kapoor-Khatter family for a shared television outing, with the promos placing their personal interactions at the centre of the entertainment. Rather than relying solely on celebrity interviews, the episode appears to lean into humour, household quirks and sibling rivalry.
Viewers can watch the episode on Netflix, subject to the platform’s published schedule. The promotional clips have already offered a preview of the playful exchanges audiences can expect from the Diwali special.
