Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are returning to the Koffee With Karan couch together after 16 years, bringing their trademark banter to the ninth and final season of Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show. The teaser, shared by Johar on Instagram, has generated online buzz ahead of the episode’s reported release on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, on JioHotstar.
The couple’s playful exchanges are among the highlights of the preview. At one point, Saif jokes that he feels “slightly miscast for this show”, poking fun at the rapid-fire conversations and familiar dynamic between Kareena and Johar.
Kareena also makes a confident claim when Johar asks her to identify Bollywood’s current number-one female star. She points to herself, saying, “The one sitting opposite to you.” Saif responds with a teasing reminder that she is allowed to praise other actors as well.
The humour continues when Johar begins a prompt about “nepo babies” going mainstream globally. Saif quickly presses the buzzer and replies, “Because of you,” turning the conversation into a joke about the filmmaker’s long-standing association with debates over nepotism in Bollywood.
Another moment comes during a buzzer round in which the guests are asked to name actors beginning with the letter K. Saif unexpectedly says “Kavita”, leaving Kareena confused and asking who he means.
The appearance marks the pair’s first joint outing on the show’s couch since Season 3 in 2010, when they were dating. Their return brings together their personal chemistry and Johar’s familiar style of celebrity interviews, in which candid remarks and playful teasing often become talking points.
The teaser also offers a glimpse of the tone expected from the episode: informal, humorous and full of references to the couple’s relationship and the wider Hindi film industry. With the show approaching its reported final season, the reunion is likely to attract interest from longtime viewers.
