Lenskart Solutions shares are in focus on October 12 as Alpha Wave Ventures LP is reportedly planning to sell up to a 1.6% stake in the eyewear retailer through a block deal. The proposed floor price of ₹640 per share represents a 5.6% discount to the stock’s closing price on Friday.

The base offer reportedly covers 1.51 crore shares, equivalent to around 0.9% of Lenskart’s equity, with an estimated transaction value of ₹950 crore. The deal also includes an option to sell an additional 1.13 crore shares, representing another 0.7% stake valued at approximately ₹724.60 crore.

The proposed transaction has drawn attention to Lenskart’s stock as investors assess potential changes in shareholding and the company’s upcoming September-quarter performance. A block deal allows large quantities of shares to be traded between buyers and sellers, often at a negotiated price.

Market expectations for the July–September quarter remain positive. Elara Securities expects Lenskart to report revenue growth of around 34% year-on-year, supported by higher sales volumes in both its domestic and international businesses. Improved realisations and a favourable comparison with the previous year are also expected to contribute to growth.

Investors will be watching the company’s quarterly results for updates on revenue momentum, business expansion and demand across markets. However, the proposed block deal price and brokerage estimates do not guarantee future share-price movements or actual earnings performance.

The final impact on Lenskart shares will depend on the confirmed transaction details, the company’s reported financial results and broader market sentiment.
