Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor has confirmed that she is dating Shikhar Pahariya during her appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 9. The actor also spoke about their relationship and shared that marriage is not on the cards anytime soon.
During the conversation, host Karan Johar asked Janhvi whether she was officially dating Shikhar. She confirmed the relationship, explaining that she did not want to be overly secretive about her personal life. She also said that constantly avoiding questions about it felt unnecessary.
Janhvi made it clear that she does not plan to get married for at least another two to three years. She added that the couple are currently in a good place.
Actor Varun Dhawan, who was also part of the conversation, recalled an incident during a turbulent flight when he had to look after Janhvi and Shikhar. He also spoke about Janhvi's admiration for her partner.
Janhvi further opened up about Shikhar's support following the death of her mother, actor Sridevi. She recalled that although they were not romantically involved at the time, Shikhar left his studies in London midway through the semester and returned to Mumbai to support her. He reportedly stayed with a friend in Juhu so he could be available whenever she needed him.
Janhvi and Shikhar have known each other since their teenage years. Their appearances together, social media interactions and public gestures of affection have often attracted attention. Reports of their possible wedding in 2026 had also circulated, but her father, Boney Kapoor, denied those claims in May.
