Avantika was 19 when she met Imran, and the couple married in 2011. They welcomed their daughter, Imaara, before their relationship ended in separation and divorce in 2019.

Reflecting on their time together, Avantika said both of them changed and matured over the years. She also acknowledged that she carried emotional baggage she did not fully understand when she was younger. Unrealistic expectations and smaller issues that accumulated over time contributed to the breakdown of their relationship, she explained.

According to Avantika, the couple repeatedly tried to repair their marriage, even when things became difficult. However, Imran eventually suggested that they take some time apart. After six months of separation, they mutually decided to proceed with the divorce.

Although she admitted feeling disappointed about how their relationship ended, Avantika said she still considers their 18 years together a success. She reflected on the experiences they shared through different stages of life, including career highs and lows, and the family they built.

Looking back, Avantika said she would advise her 19-year-old self to focus on independence and personal growth before marriage. She also spoke candidly about the emotional challenges of separation and the importance of developing confidence in one's own abilities.

Imran and Avantika are now co-parenting their daughter, Imaara.
