On September 13, six men from Kharar visited the Alif Laila Club in Panchkula. A scuffle broke out when a bouncer stopped one of them over wearing a kada (metal bangle). The altercation quickly escalated into gunfire, shocking partygoers and drawing immediate police intervention.

Police arrested several accused, including Karan, Gurpreet, and Shiva, and recovered a Zigana pistol worth lakhs of rupees. Investigators soon uncovered alleged links to foreign‑based handlers in Pakistan and the US, raising suspicions of a larger narco‑terror operation.
