Leaked images have reportedly revealed three upcoming smart home accessories being developed by Apple and LG, including a smart lock, thermostat and temperature sensor. The products are expected to form part of a wider smart home push involving the two companies.
The reported lineup is expected to launch under the LG brand rather than Apple’s, with other devices said to include a video doorbell, indoor camera, outdoor camera and floodlight camera. Recent leaks have also surfaced images of several of these camera products.
The smart home accessories come as Apple prepares a broader expansion into connected home products. Bloomberg has reported that Apple plans to introduce a new smart home hub on October 13, alongside an updated Apple TV 4K and a new version of the HomePod mini.
The leaked LG-branded accessories could help expand the smart home ecosystem beyond Apple’s own hardware while potentially working with Apple’s software and home platform. However, details about pricing, availability and final specifications remain unconfirmed.
Apple and LG have not officially announced the reported smart lock, thermostat or temperature sensor. Current reports suggest the wider LG smart home collection could arrive in 2027, although the timing has not been officially confirmed.
