Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are coming together for a new project, but this time, they will not appear on screen together. The duo is lending its voice to the Hindi version of Hollywood horror film Obsession, which is scheduled to premiere on JioHotstar’s Peacock Hub on October 30, 2026.

The announcement comes after the actors and filmmaker Amar Kaushik teased a collaboration on social media, prompting fans to speculate about a possible sequel to their 2022 film Bhediya. The new project, however, is a Hindi adaptation of the horror hit directed by Curry Barker.

The film will be available in both English and Hindi. According to the announcement, Indian audiences will also be able to stream the uncut version of the film on the platform.

The original English version stars Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette. While their performances remain part of the original version, Varun and Kriti will provide the voices for the lead characters in the Hindi adaptation.

For Kriti, the project marks her first experience lending her voice to another actor’s performance. She described Obsession as a gripping, unusual and twisted story, adding that voicing a character with a different personality from her previous roles was both exciting and challenging.

Kriti also said she enjoyed the experience and looked forward to audiences discovering the film in Hindi.

Varun and Kriti have previously shared screen space in Dilwale (2015) and Bhediya (2022). Their latest collaboration introduces them to a different side of filmmaking, bringing an international horror title to Hindi-speaking viewers.
