Indian stock markets may see a muted opening on October 12 as elevated crude oil prices, rising bond yields and September-quarter earnings keep investors cautious. Several companies, including Lenskart, Infosys, DMart, Persistent Systems and Meesho, are likely to remain in focus following key business updates and financial results.
Lenskart Solutions is in the spotlight as Alpha Wave Ventures is reportedly planning to sell up to a 1.6% stake through a block deal at a floor price of ₹640 per share. Meanwhile, Infosys said the US suspension of applications under the Permanent Labor Certification programme is not expected to materially affect its operations.
Avenue Supermarts, the operator of DMart, reported a 7.6% year-on-year increase in September-quarter net profit to ₹803.6 crore, while revenue rose 18.4% to ₹19,206.2 crore. Canara Robeco Asset Management Company posted a 21.5% rise in net profit to ₹59.2 crore and announced an interim dividend of ₹2 per share.
Persistent Systems increased its stake in Nagarro to 94.04%, while KEC International secured new orders worth ₹1,014 crore in its transmission and distribution business. Can Fin Homes reported a 9.2% rise in quarterly net profit to ₹274.6 crore.
Meesho recorded approximately 75% year-on-year growth in orders on the first day of its Mega Blockbuster Sale 2026. Poonawalla Fincorp also reported a sharp increase in quarterly profit, supported by stronger net interest income.
Investors will additionally track updates from Anand Rathi Wealth, Canara HSBC Life Insurance, Blue Dart Express, Rubicon Research and other companies as earnings announcements and corporate developments shape market sentiment.
