The non-banking financial company (NBFC) recorded revenue of ₹2,624.50 crore during Q2FY27, marking a 70.17% increase from ₹1,542.30 crore a year earlier. The growth highlights a stronger quarterly performance as the company continues to expand its lending business.

Net interest income (NII), which reflects the difference between interest earned and interest paid, rose 12.3% sequentially to ₹1,589 crore. The company reported a net interest margin (NIM) of 9.26% for the quarter, indicating the spread generated from its lending activities relative to interest-bearing assets.

Poonawalla Fincorp’s assets under management (AUM) stood at ₹74,008 crore during the reporting period. Its return on assets (RoA), a measure of profitability relative to total assets, improved to 2.18%.

Asset quality also showed an improvement. Gross non-performing assets (GNPA) declined to 1.20% in Q2FY27 from 1.37% in the June 2026 quarter. A lower GNPA ratio generally indicates that a smaller proportion of loans has become non-performing.

Investors will continue to monitor the company’s profitability, lending growth, funding costs and asset quality in upcoming quarters. While the latest results show stronger earnings and improving asset quality, sustained performance will depend on the company’s ability to manage credit risk and maintain growth.
