Actor Krystle D’Souza has opened up about her plans for motherhood, marriage and egg freezing, saying she wants to keep her options open while allowing herself the possibility of having children in the future.
In a recent interview, the Dhurandhar actor shared that she hopes to have children of her own someday, preferably through natural conception. However, she also sees egg freezing as an option if her plans do not work out as expected.
“I want to have children someday, of my own. Hopefully, naturally. But if that does not pan out, I always have the option of frozen eggs,” D’Souza said, adding that she believes her eggs are currently of good quality.
The actor also spoke about the choices available to people who want to become parents later in life. According to her, egg freezing can be worth considering for those who wish to preserve the possibility of having biological children in the future. She also highlighted adoption as another way to build a family and provide a child with a loving home.
“If you don’t want your own kids, adoption is an option, and there are so many children who could use that support to get a home, family, a mom and a dad,” she said during the conversation.
Egg freezing, medically known as oocyte cryopreservation, involves retrieving and preserving a woman’s eggs for possible future use. It can offer additional reproductive options, although it does not guarantee a future pregnancy. The number and quality of eggs, age at freezing and individual health factors can influence the chances of success.
D’Souza’s comments have brought attention to personal decisions around fertility, family planning and the different paths to parenthood. Her perspective reflects her wish to keep future possibilities open while acknowledging that biological parenthood and adoption are distinct options.
