JioBlackRock Flexicap recorded a year-to-date decline of 6.67% through September 30, 2026, slightly outperforming its benchmark, the Nifty 500 TRI, which fell 6.96% over the same period. The fund also made substantial portfolio changes in September, adding 19 stocks and completely exiting 18 holdings.
The reshuffle included increases in 38 existing positions and reductions in 34 others, while 46 holdings remained unchanged. These changes reflect considerable portfolio activity, although the available data does not establish the specific reasons behind individual investment decisions.
Among the fresh additions were Redington, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, GAIL (India), Star Health and Allied Insurance, Five-Star Business Finance and Bank of India. The fund also added IDFC First Bank, Electronics Mart India, Shadowfax Technologies, Deepak Nitrite and Aegis Logistics.
The new investments covered several sectors, including healthcare, banking, insurance, energy, logistics and chemicals, indicating a broad spread of portfolio adjustments.
Meanwhile, the fund exited 18 stocks, including Eternal, Laurus Labs, Indraprastha Gas, Thermax, DLF, Edelweiss Financial Services and HDB Financial Services. Other exits included FSN E-Commerce Ventures, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, General Insurance Corporation of India and Kalyan Jewellers.
Despite the extensive reshuffle, the fund's year-to-date performance remained close to that of its benchmark. Its one-month return through September 30 stood at -5.33%, compared with -6.16% for the Nifty 500 TRI.
The portfolio changes offer investors a snapshot of the fund's evolving holdings, but stock additions and exits alone do not establish future performance. Investors should also consider investment objectives, risk tolerance, costs and longer-term returns before making mutual fund decisions.
