Bose has returned to the wired earphone market after more than a decade with its new Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds. The launch comes as wired audio products are seeing renewed interest among consumers looking for simpler alternatives to fully wireless earbuds.
The new earphones feature active noise cancellation (ANC) and are designed with a 4.2-foot cable. Unlike traditional wired earphones that typically end in a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bose’s new model uses a USB-C connection.
The cable also features an inline remote with an additional microphone, adding controls and voice functionality to the wired design. Bose is offering the earphones in three colour options: black, white smoke and a limited-edition Dewdrop Mint finish.
The Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds are currently available for preorder in the US through Bose’s online store for $99. The company is expected to begin shipping the earphones around October 13, 2026.
The launch marks Bose’s return to wired earbuds after more than 11 years, at a time when older audio formats are finding renewed attention alongside modern wireless devices. The USB-C connection also makes the new earbuds relevant to devices that have moved away from traditional headphone ports.
Bose has not yet confirmed pricing or availability for the new wired earbuds in India.
