Bigg Boss 20 contestant Rhiti Tiwari has opened up about her relationship with her father, actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, and the financial challenges she says she has faced as an adult.

In the latest episode, Rhiti recalled how her parents’ divorce affected her relationship with her father. She said she had limited contact with Manoj Tiwari during her childhood and would meet him only occasionally.

Rhiti said that after turning 18 or 19, she decided to reconnect with her father and understand him better. However, she said much of the distance between them had already shaped their relationship.

Discussing her career, Rhiti said her father made it clear that he would not support her professionally. According to her, Manoj told her that if she had talent, she should build her career independently.

Rhiti also spoke about the financial support she receives from her father. She said he gives her around Rs 20,000-25,000 as a monthly allowance and added that she manages her expenses while sometimes surviving on inexpensive food such as vada pavs.

She acknowledged that being Manoj Tiwari’s daughter gives her recognition and respect, but said his wealth, opportunities and fame did not automatically become part of her life.

Her comments offered viewers a personal account of her family circumstances and the challenges she says she has experienced while trying to establish her own identity.
