India’s women shooters added another proud chapter to the country’s campaign at the Asian Games 2026, clinching a bronze medal in the skeet team event and securing India’s sixth shooting medal of the Games.

The trio of Raiza Dhillon, Maheshwari Chauhan, and Parinaaz Dhaliwal combined for a score of 331 points. Both Raiza and Parinaaz shot 111 out of 125, while Maheshwari contributed 109 points, ensuring India another podium finish in Nagoya.

The skeet event, which tests precision and consistency with each shooter aiming for a maximum of 125 points, saw India’s women display resilience and accuracy under pressure. Their performance reflects the growing depth of India’s shooting talent, especially in shotgun disciplines where podium finishes have been rare.

This bronze adds momentum to India’s shooting contingent, which has already delivered multiple medals, reinforcing the nation’s reputation as a rising powerhouse in the sport.
