Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav drew attention during his visit to Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja after he was seen waiting in the regular queue alongside fellow devotees.

Instead of using a separate VIP arrangement, the actor patiently waited for his turn to seek darshan at the popular Ganpati pandal. Videos from the visit showed Yadav joining devotees in chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” and greeting people around him with a smile.

The actor’s appearance quickly caught the attention of devotees, with several people recognising him and recording the moment on their phones. Yadav appeared comfortable among the crowd as he continued through the queue.

Lalbaugcha Raja is one of Mumbai’s most visited Ganpati pandals and attracts large numbers of devotees during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The 2026 festivities have also seen several Bollywood personalities visit the pandal to seek blessings.

Yadav’s visit stood out because of his decision to experience the darshan alongside members of the public rather than through a separate arrangement. The actor’s interaction with devotees also became a talking point on social media, where footage from his visit was widely noticed.

The visit comes amid the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Mumbai, with Lalbaugcha Raja continuing to draw devotees as well as celebrities seeking Bappa’s blessings.
