Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has issued a stark warning that Russia is planning hybrid strikes with drones or rockets on NATO countries supporting Ukraine.

Speaking in the Polish Parliament, Tusk cautioned that Moscow may attempt to disguise such attacks as “accidental” strikes, aiming to paralyze or weaken NATO’s motivation to defend member states under threat.

The warning comes days after European leaders narrowly escaped a drone strike near the Polish‑Ukrainian border, underscoring the growing risks of escalation. In a show of defiance, Tusk also announced he would travel to Ukraine overnight on September 18, reinforcing Poland’s solidarity with Kyiv amid heightened tensions.

Tusk’s remarks highlight concerns over Russia’s use of hybrid warfare tactics, blending conventional military pressure with disinformation and covert operations. Analysts say such strategies are designed to sow confusion, test Western unity, and undermine collective security.
