Greece Bans Social Media for Children Under 15 From January 2027

Greece’s Parliament has approved a law banning children under 15 from using social media, effective January 1, 2027. The decision follows growing concerns about children’s online safety and mental well-being. Greece is also working with the European Commission and six other EU countries on age-verification solutions.
