Taylor Swift has announced The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore, an expanded edition of her 2025 album The Life Of A Showgirl. The new release will feature four brand-new songs and is scheduled to arrive on September 25, 2026.
Swift revealed the project on Instagram on September 23, sharing its artwork and explaining the story behind the additional tracks. According to the singer, she travelled to Sweden to celebrate the success of the original album with collaborators Max Martin and Shellback.
During the trip, the team continued working in a studio and created new songs. Swift said the music came from a feeling of gratitude toward fans and their response to The Life Of A Showgirl.
The expanded edition will bring the album’s total track count to 16 songs, adding another chapter to the ongoing Showgirl era.
The original The Life Of A Showgirl was released on October 3, 2025, making the Encore edition arrive almost a year later. Swift’s announcement gives fans four previously unreleased songs while extending the creative period surrounding the album.
The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore will be available from September 25, with pre-orders and pre-saves already open.
