The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has revised the Karnataka SSLC exam fee for 2027, with fees increasing by around 5% across different candidate categories.
For regular school students and private candidates appearing for the Class 10 board examination for the first time, the examination fee has increased from Rs 710 to Rs 746.
The revised fee structure also applies to private candidates. Newly registering private candidates will now have to pay Rs 260, up from Rs 248 earlier. Meanwhile, the registration renewal fee for private candidates who have already registered and paid the examination fee has increased from Rs 72 to Rs 76.
Fees for repeater candidates have also been revised based on the number of subjects they choose to appear for. The fee for one subject has increased from Rs 448 to Rs 470. Candidates appearing for two subjects will pay Rs 587, compared with Rs 559 previously.
For repeaters appearing for three or more subjects, the fee has been revised from Rs 752 to Rs 790.

KSEAB has not yet released the Karnataka SSLC 2027 exam timetable. The board is expected to announce the schedule separately through its official channels.
