IIT Bombay has opened registrations for the CEED 2027 and UCEED 2027 entrance examinations. The application process began on October 1, 2026, and candidates can submit applications without a late fee until October 31. Applications with a late fee will be accepted until November 6, 2026.
CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design) is conducted for admission to postgraduate design programmes, including M.Des. and PhD courses at participating institutes. Candidates must have completed, or be appearing for, a graduate degree, diploma or postgraduate programme of at least three years after Class 12 by July 2027. Candidates completing the five-year Government Diploma in Art after Class 10 by July 2027 are also eligible. There is no specified age limit for CEED 2027.
UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) is conducted for admission to four-year B.Des. programmes at participating IITs and other institutions.
Both examinations are scheduled for January 17, 2027, from 9 am to 12 noon. Admit cards are expected to be released on January 5, 2027. The draft answer key will be available on January 21, followed by the final answer key on January 30.
CEED 2027 results and scorecards are scheduled for March 5, while UCEED 2027 results and scorecards are expected on March 6, 2027.
