FY27 Direct Tax Collections Rise 13% to ₹12.12 Lakh Crore; STT Jumps 53%

India’s net direct tax collections rose 12.96% to ₹12.12 lakh crore in FY27 so far, while STT collections jumped 52.9% and advance tax rose 16.18%.
