Speaking after co‑chairing the 14th India–UAE High‑Level Joint Task Force on Investments with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority Managing Director Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Goyal highlighted that the UAE has already invested around $25 billion in India. The long‑term objective is to scale this figure to $100 billion, reflecting the strength of the strategic partnership.

Earlier this year, India and the UAE set a target of doubling bilateral trade to $200 billion by 2032, after trade volumes reached nearly $100 billion. The fresh investment signals confidence in India’s growth story and underscores the UAE’s interest in sectors critical to India’s economic future.

The announcement comes as both nations deepen their special and privileged strategic partnership, with the UAE positioning itself as a key investor in India’s infrastructure and technology sectors. Experts believe this move will further strengthen India’s role as a global investment hub.
