Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for October 2026, with three titles joining the Essential tier for subscribers. The games will be available to claim from October 6 through November 2.
The October lineup includes F1 25 for PS5, Hunt: Showdown 1896 for PS5, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 for both PS5 and PS4.
F1 25 is the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. It includes single-player modes such as Career and My Team 2.0, along with online multiplayer features and F1 World's squad-based racing mode.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is an extraction shooter where players track monsters, collect bounties and compete against other Hunters. It supports solo play as well as teams of up to three players.
Meanwhile, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 brings a voxel-based take on the series, allowing players to build teams from characters across the EDF franchise. The game supports four-player online co-op and two-player local split-screen multiplayer on PS5 and PS4.
PlayStation Plus members should also note that September's Monthly Games remain available until October 5. Those titles include Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes.
