Peak XV Partners has sold a 1.46% stake in Groww’s parent company, Billionbrains Garage Ventures, for ₹1,756.23 crore through a block deal on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Peak XV Partners Investments VI-1, an affiliate of the venture capital firm, sold 9,17,14,208 shares at an average price of ₹191.49 per share. The transaction was completed on Wednesday.
Following the sale, Peak XV Partners’ holding in Billionbrains Garage Ventures declined to 14.22% from 15.68%. The firm and its affiliates, however, remain the company’s largest public shareholders. The buyers involved in the block transaction were not identified in NSE data.
The stake sale comes amid a series of exits by early investors in Groww during 2026. In August, Y Combinator sold nearly a 1.2% stake for about ₹1,435 crore, while Friale sold more than 1.13 crore shares for around ₹210 crore in June.
Earlier in May, Peak XV Partners, Ribbit Capital and Y Combinator collectively sold a 4.71% stake for ₹5,326 crore.
Meanwhile, Groww parent Billionbrains Garage Ventures reported a 94% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹735 crore for the June 2026 quarter. Consolidated revenue from operations increased 66% to ₹1,501 crore from ₹904 crore a year earlier.
