Voting for the four central posts of the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) concluded on September 18, 2026, while results from several college-level elections were announced across the university.

According to reports, ABVP candidates secured all contested posts at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Bharti College. The organisation also won all six contested posts at Sri Aurobindo College (Morning).

At Keshav Mahavidyalaya, ABVP candidates won the president, vice-president and secretary positions. At Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, the organisation secured the president and secretary posts along with two central councillor seats.

The college-level results were announced as voting for the central DUSU panel was underway. The four central positions are president, vice-president, secretary and joint secretary.

The central contest included ABVP and the Congress-affiliated National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), while the AISA-SFI alliance also participated.

Student concerns during the election included accommodation costs, functioning hostels, food and transport expenses, metro concessions and access to university administrative services.

Security was tightened during polling, with police and paramilitary personnel deployed across North and South Campus. Counting for the central DUSU posts is scheduled to take place at the Multipurpose Hall of the University Sports Stadium in North Campus.
