Rise and Fall Season 2 has witnessed another heated exchange after Shehzad Poonawalla called Priyanka Chahar Choudhary a “gold digger” during an argument on the reality show.
The remark left Priyanka visibly upset. According to reports from the episode, she became emotional and later discussed the incident with fellow contestant Swara Bhasker. Priyanka also described Shehzad as a “man-child” and expressed her anger over the personal nature of his comment.
The confrontation followed discussions surrounding the show's power dynamics and contestant relationships. Priyanka, who is competing as one of the contestants in the Rulers-versus-Workers format, has been involved in several disagreements since the season began.
Swara also reacted to the incident, suggesting that Shehzad may not have considered how hurtful the remark could be. The exchange added another layer to the growing tensions among the contestants.
Rise and Fall 2, hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, premiered on September 26, 2026. The season features 15 contestants who compete while being divided between the Rulers in the penthouse and Workers in the basement.
The season has already seen several confrontations, including an earlier physical altercation involving Shehzad and contestant Siwet Tomar.
