The Indian School of Business (ISB) has secured the fifth position globally in LinkedIn’s Top MBA Programs 2026 ranking, emerging as the highest-ranked Indian business school on the list.

The ranking features 100 MBA programmes worldwide and is based on LinkedIn data examining long-term career outcomes of alumni. Stanford University Graduate School of Business occupies the first position, followed by Harvard Business School and the Wharton School. INSEAD ranks fourth, ahead of ISB.

Seven Indian institutions have featured among the global top 100. IIM Ahmedabad is ranked 19th, followed by IIM Bangalore at 20th and IIM Calcutta at 21st. IIM Lucknow holds the 31st position, while IIM Indore ranks 33rd. The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is placed at 62nd and IIM Udaipur at 83rd.

The report also highlights the skills and career paths associated with leading MBA programmes. Product Manager is among the three most common job titles at 80 of the 100 ranked programmes.

Data Analysis appears among the three most common skills at 63 programmes, making it the most widely represented skill in the ranking.

The findings highlight the growing relevance of technology, analytics and product-focused roles in MBA career trajectories.
