Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday transformed into a powerful demonstration of coalition cohesion on Thursday, as top National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders gathered in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi.

Key allies Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister Chirag Paswan joined Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Kashi Vishwanath temple, offering prayers for the Prime Minister’s health and longevity.

Addressing the gathering before launching a massive 2,100-kilometer Varanasi-to-Vadnagar motorcycle yatra, coalition partners projected resolute solidarity. Dismissing friction rumors, TDP chief Naidu emphasized that cooperative federalism has fueled key projects like Amaravati and Polavaram, declaring, "NDA ek hai, NDA majboot hai" (The NDA is united and strong). Paswan echoed the allegiance, pledging to stand firmly behind the Prime Minister "like his shadow."

The celebrations kicked off the nationwide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,’ marking Modi’s 25 years in continuous public office. In Kashi, 76 young priests performed a ceremonial Ganga abhishek, while 500 youth riders set out on 250 bikes to connect the Prime Minister's birthplace in Gujarat with his constituency.

Rajnath Singh praised the milestone, calling Modi's quarter-century of public service merely a "half-inning." Through shared rituals, coordinated rhetoric, and joint public appearances, the Varanasi gathering went beyond ritual birthday wishes—delivering a clear political message of alliance stability and shared momentum for the years ahead.
