Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has revealed that she takes a strict approach to screen time and phone usage for her sons, Taimur and Jeh. She said her children do not have access to their own phones and that she remains particularly careful about their exposure to digital devices.

Speaking about parenting, Kareena explained that Taimur sometimes considers his nanny’s phone to be his own. She recalled telling him clearly that the device did not belong to him. When he asked whether he could tell his friends that it was his phone, she said she still refused.

Kareena also acknowledged that her approach to technology can be stricter than that of her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. She described herself as being particularly concerned about the role of phones and digital devices in their children’s daily lives.

According to Kareena, the children sometimes use phones while playing games, requiring her to intervene and take the devices away. She also said that Taimur has questioned the rules by pointing out that both his parents use phones themselves.

Kareena’s comments highlight a common parenting challenge: setting boundaries around children's screen use while parents themselves rely heavily on smartphones.

Rather than giving her children unrestricted access to personal devices, Kareena said she prefers to maintain clear limits. Her comments also reflect the difficulty parents can face when explaining digital rules to children who see adults using phones regularly.
