Fresh produce and grocery platform Handpickd is evaluating expansion into Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune as it looks to scale its zero-inventory fresh commerce model across more major Indian cities.

The company currently operates in Gurugram, Noida and Bengaluru and serves more than 100,000 customers. Founder and CEO Anant Goel said geographic expansion is a key focus as Handpickd looks to enter markets with demand for fresh, additive-free produce and freshly milled kitchen staples.

The company plans to build on its existing operations in the National Capital Region and Bengaluru before launching in the three additional metropolitan markets.

Handpickd is also targeting three-fold to five-fold year-on-year growth as it expands its geographic footprint. Its zero-stock approach is designed to support fresh-commerce operations without maintaining conventional inventory levels.

The planned expansion comes as demand for fresh grocery and produce delivery continues to develop across India's major urban markets. Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune are now being evaluated as the next potential growth markets for the platform.

The company has not disclosed specific launch timelines for the three cities. Its expansion strategy will depend on market evaluation and the scalability of its existing operating model.
