Kapil Sharma is ready to bring his popular comedy show back to Netflix, with The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5 scheduled to premiere on September 26.

The upcoming season is set to arrive during the festive period, promising viewers a fresh round of celebrity conversations, comedy sketches, playful banter and Kapil Sharma’s signature brand of humour.

Joining Kapil once again will be familiar faces from the comedy ensemble, including Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda. Archana Puran Singh will also return, along with former cricketer and television personality Navjot Singh Sidhu.

The new season is expected to feature a varied lineup of celebrity guests, newsmakers and other personalities. Alongside conversations with guests, viewers can expect comic performances, light-hearted roasting and spontaneous interactions involving the cast.

The makers have given the season the playful theme “Hasi Ka Tyo-haha-har,” positioning the show as a celebration of laughter throughout the festive season. The concept builds on the programme’s earlier attempts to create its own festive identity around weekend entertainment and its large family audience.

The return of the full comedy ensemble is likely to be one of the major attractions of the new season, particularly for viewers who have followed the show across its previous installments.

With Kapil Sharma back at the centre of the action and several familiar performers returning, The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5 is set to continue its mix of celebrity entertainment and comedy when it arrives on Netflix on September 26.
