The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the sample question papers and marking schemes for Classes 10 and 12 for the 2026-27 academic session. The resources are available subject-wise on the CBSE Academic website and are intended to help students understand the format of the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2027.
CBSE has also clarified that there will be no change in the question paper design or assessment pattern for the 2026-27 session. The passing criteria will continue to follow the rules applicable during the 2025-26 academic session.
For Class 10, sample papers are available for subjects including Science, Mathematics Basic and Standard, Social Science, English, Hindi, Home Science, Computer Applications, painting, music and several languages.
For Class 12, students can access sample papers and marking schemes for Accountancy, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English, Geography, History, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology, among other subjects.
The sample papers are designed to provide a broad understanding of the question paper structure and encourage students to apply concepts to real-life situations.
Students can use these papers along with the marking schemes to understand question formats, expected answers and the distribution of marks while preparing for the 2027 board examinations.
