Amazon has simplified its Fire TV streaming device lineup by reducing the number of models available to customers. The company has removed the Fire TV Stick 4K Select and Fire TV Stick 4K Plus, leaving four streaming devices in its portfolio.
The updated lineup now includes the Fire TV Stick HD, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Cube. Previously, Amazon offered five devices under its streaming media player category, making the latest change a 20% reduction in the range.
The Fire TV Stick HD is the entry-level option and was launched earlier in 2026 with a slimmer design. It is priced at $35. The newly announced Fire TV Stick 4K costs $60 and sits between the HD and Max models in Amazon’s lineup.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max remains the higher-end streaming stick, while the Fire TV Cube continues to serve as Amazon’s premium streaming device. The Cube was last updated in 2022 and originally launched at $140.
The lineup change comes shortly before Amazon’s upcoming Prime Day event, when Fire TV devices are expected to receive discounts. Amazon has already announced that the new Fire TV Stick 4K will be available at half its regular price, bringing it down to $30 during the promotional period.
